Mission

Studio Wu’s mission as a ONE STOP PERFORMING CENTRE, is to support and promote our creative industries especially in the area of arts and culture to create learning opportunities in Performing Arts specifically in Dance, Music and Drama, which is affordable and readily available. We are determined to set up an academy that can provide both an academic and arts curriculum in a unique multi-disciplinary, open and cross-cultural learning environment.

The academy would identify youths with interest and talent in the arts, to develop and nurture their full creative potential. The school would therefore provide an additional avenue for Singaporeans to fulfill their diverse aspirations.

Vision

Adopting Ministry of Communication, Information and the Art’s vision of Creative People, Gracious Community, Connected Singapore, we at Studio Wu are committed to nurture a creative atmosphere to connect people and strive to bring about graciousness in the community. Studio Wu has undertaken the challenge of nurturing a gracious society, making us the first commercial dance company with one of the broadest goals.

A gracious and cultured community is characterized by civic-mindedness, kindness and a vibrant artistic realm. With the help of Studio Wu’s instructors, members and the public, we hope to develop and convey relevant ideas and values that a gracious community should espouse. This will lead to a balanced and harmonious society.
