Studio Wu is all ready to forge greater grounds ahead of it’s eighth year in the business of dance and passion.
Over the next couple of days, it will be having minor renovations in the studio to bring about a new feel to the one-year old Central Branch. With most of the renovation works being done in the morning right through lunch time, so members can expect minimal disruptions to the evening classes. Cardio Jam class on Friday lunchtime on May 20, 2010 will be cancelled.
With the new renovation, members can expect a new lounge with new and plush furnishings. They can also look forward to a cafe corner near the entrance to enjoy your drinks, chill out and even grab a hot drink. And on weekends when the foodcourt is not opened, members can refuel with some snacks available in the new and bigger fridge.
A New Class Structure
Beside physical changes, Studio Wu will be introducing a new class structure to provide a holistic dance training in the Open Classes. Students will have have a choice of attending the Breezy Hour which is a sixty minutes dance class and the Pump Hour which provides ninety minutes of pure dance and training. The Pump Hour allows instructors to break it down further, teach and ease the students with techniques and incorporate it all into a choreography. New to the schedule is a Community Concept Hour where the timebelt is dedicated towards the growth and sharing for dance scene. Students can expect classes and sharing sessions with upcoming instructors from the Singapore dance scene.
Credits Wu Dollars System
Come May 31, 2010, all current Studio Wu dance packages will be replaced. Students and members can enjoy greater flexibility with a Credit Wu Dollars System which allows them to offset it against the Open Classes, any courses and merchandise.
With the Credit Wu Dollars, students and members will enjoy a minimum of six months till the expiry of the credits.
